We want you to leave your first visit feeling comfortable with our team and knowledgeable about the customized treatment plan we’ve put together for you.

Your first visit includes a personalized 30-minute consultation, during which we will discuss your overall health, wellness and aesthetic goals. Together, we will review your past experiences, medical and dental history, take a panoramic X-ray and put together a plan for you to achieve the smile of your dreams. We will review medical and dental history and also discuss expectations.

Meet Dr. Mohaad Faraj, Prosthodontist

University of Connecticut School of Dentistry

Dr. Mohaad Faraj is originally from Syria. He moved to the United States with his family at the age of 14 looking for a better life. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut where he majored in biology. Dr. Faraj went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry.

Following his doctoral degree, Dr. Faraj attended a three year intensive residency program specializing in surgical and conventional prosthodontics. He gained knowledge and experience in treating complex cases including smile makeovers, full mouth reconstructions and all aspects of implant dentistry. At the same time that he was completing his speciality training, Dr. Faraj completed a Masters of Dental Sciences from the University of Connecticut to have a deeper understanding of materials he uses for patients on a daily basis. Dr. Faraj then earned his fellowship from the American College of Prosthodontics to become fully board certified.

As someone who came from humble beginnings with limited access to dental or medical care, Dr. Faraj has a lot of empathy and understanding for patients. He has a comprehensive approach to dental care and strives to restore patients’ oral health to a stable state, eliminating the need for frequent dental visits for non-maintenance needs. Dr. Faraj understands the importance a smile has on patients’ confidence and quality of life and will work on achieving the best individualized care possible.

Dr. Faraj enjoys weightlifting, playing soccer, hiking, reading books and cooking.
