Dr. Tolu Fadipe
Dentist
The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston

Dr. Tolu Fadipe is originally from Nigeria. She completed her undergraduate degree at Prairie View A&M University and received her DDS from the The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Dr. Fadipe enjoys restoring patients’ smiles through full rehab, cosmetic dentistry and implants. She is also a fitness trainer who likes helping people take care of their physical health as well as their oral health. She looks forward to serving the Lubbock community and building long lasting relationships with her patients.

Dr. Lena Shoukfeh Kharrat
Dentist
New York University College of Dentistry

Dr. Lena Shoukfeh Kharrat was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas but her family is originally from Hama, Syria. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, she obtained her DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry.

Her primary focus and interest is treating patients who suffer from snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with the use of oral appliances. She is double board certified with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy (ASBA).

Dr. Kharrat is married and has three sons. She is fluent in Arabic and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, and listening to Spanish and R&B music.

Dr. Mike Lewis
Dentist
The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston

Dr. Mike Lewis was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marines, he received a Meritorious Mast and was selected as Marine of the Month while stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was honorably discharged in 1969. He went on to attend the University of Houston College of Pharmacy and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 1978. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and problems of worn occlusion. In 1982, he was published in the dental newsletter Cosmetic Dentistry through Bonding. He enjoys cooking, reading, football and hiking.

Dr. Meet Patel
Dentist
UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry

Dr. Meet Patel is originally from Mumbai, India, and is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Texas Tech University before completing his graduate work at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Patel’s favorite thing about dentistry is that it is a growing profession, so there is always something new to enjoy. He hopes to continue to grow professionally so he can provide better service to his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling and cooking.

Dr. Julia Son
Dentist
Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry

Dr. Julia Son is originally from San Diego, California. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California and her Master of Science degree in oral health sciences from Boston University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She was influenced to become a dentist by her older sister, who is also a dentist. Dr. Son treats each patient like they are family. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling. 

Dr. Darin Tiner
Dentist
University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine

Dr. Darin Tiner loves helping people through dentistry. He values the trust given by every individual he serves. Together with his wonderful staff, he makes the best effort to treat each patient with compassion and care.

Prior to joining Abbeville Dental in 2017, Dr. Tiner served on active duty status in the United States Army as a general dentist for five years. In that time, he successfully completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine in 2012.

As a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Tiner exemplifies the importance of continuing education in the dental field and continually strives to understand ways in which he can better serve his patients. He is a native of Reno, Nevada, and loves spending time with his beautiful wife and four children.
