Dr. Maleny Romero

Dr. Maleny Romero was born in San Juan del RÍo Querétaro and raised in the Northern Panhandle of Texas. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry from Oklahoma Panhandle State University graduating with honors in 2016. 

Soon after graduation, she moved to Dallas, TX where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Romero spent a considerable amount of time serving as a volunteer at several community clinics and externships providing dental care to underserved populations. She excelled in clinic and was well liked by peers and professional staff. Dr. Romero was honored with the Rudolph Hanau Prosthodontic Award for her excellence in Prosthodontics. Her peers would call her the “Denture Queen.” Additionally, Dr. Romero was honored with the Texas Recruits and Retains Scholarship as well as the Bronze Medal award for her commitment, service, leadership, and interest in providing oral health care to underserved communities. 

Dr. Romero has a passion for dentistry and is committed and dedicated to providing patients with superior dental care. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of Osseointegration. 

In her spare time, Dr. Romero likes to spend time with family and friends, dance, go to church, attend the family farm, and her passion for the piano.
