Dr. Francisco Gomez-Chaves

Dr. Francisco Gomez-Chaves received his Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology from John Carroll University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He then provided dental services to members of the Seneca Nation during a National Indian Health Services externship in Irving, New York, before completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Penobscot Community Health Care. Dr. Gomez-Chaves is fluent in Spanish and has held several leadership positions throughout his career with the Maine Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association and American Student Dental Association.
