Dr. Russell Reddell was born and raised in Texas and currently resides in Lubbock. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and minor in biology. Dr. Reddell went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. After starting his dental career, he also attended the Rawls College of Business and graduated with a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) with an emphasis in health organization management. Throughout various stages of his career, Dr. Reddell served as dental director for the Preston E. Smith Unit, dental director at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center, and state dental director for the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
Dr. Reddell eventually established what is now known as Abbeville Special Needs Dentistry in Lubbock in 2014. In 2015, he was granted full privileges at the University Medical Center to also care for individuals in a hospital setting. To this day, he specializes in caring for patients with special needs in both his office and in a hospital setting.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Reddell enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and golfing. He has been married to his wife, Dana, for 22 years and they have two teenage sons.
